Local firm VAM & Company has launched a special promotion giving away prizes worth between MVR 100,000 and MVR 200,000 for every purchase of a Doosan Daewoo Marine Engine.

The sole authorised distributor of the renowned South Korean band Doosan Daewoo, VAMCo’s “Doosan Lakka Promotion” lasts until January 15. The prizes offered include items such as Steering System, GPS with Fish Finder, Binoculars, Lubricant, Gear Oil, and Coolant.

Doosan Daewoo Marine Engines is a popular brand in the Maldives with over 400 local vessels using the engines distributed by VAMCo. It had won the title of Most Preferred Marine Engine Brand Award twice at the Maldives Boating Awards.

According to the company, Doosan Daewoo engines boast a great reputation for their high speed and durability, low noise and vibration, as well as low initial cost and fuel costs. VAMCo markets a range of light, medium and heavy duty engines that feature horsepower between 160 and 1,200.
